Expert Retail Professional
Deidre Holloway accepted her current position in January of 2011, and her expertise helped the family-owned boutique earn the Smyrna-Vinings Community “Best Boutique” award, beating out 10 other area stores in the competition. In charge of day-to-day operations for the store, which features unique lines of designer clothing and accessories, Holloway focuses on customer service and fosters relationships with high-end vendors.
Prior to joining Lola Rose, Deidre Holloway worked as a Corporate Buyer and Brand Manager for The Paradies Shops in Atlanta. The family-owned company with more than 500 stores across North America, many in airports, provided Holloway an opportunity to make use of her buying skills. She worked directly with manufacturers to develop products for sale in more than 200 Paradies stores and re-established relations with lost vendors. She controlled a $40 million spending budget for brands such as Foster Grant and Spanx. Earlier in her career, Holloway gained experience as a buyer and in sales through positions with Macy’s Inc., Chico’s FAS, Inc., and Saks Parisian, a department chain eventually purchased by Belk.
A creative individual, Deidre Holloway pursued music studies at both the Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham and Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts. While in Alabama, she was an active member of the Student Government Association, serving as Vice President. She also participated in the Alabama Youth Symphony. After matriculating to Agnes Scott College, she served as President of Witkaze, the college’s African American student association. When not at work, she volunteers with the Junior League of DeKalb County and other local organizations.
